Abstract

In today's era, it is undeniable that information technology has become part of a fairly basic human need, especially in assisting any work in the field of communication and information, especially during this pandemic, the government has limited the space for people to move so that community activities are carried out online and utilize the use of internet technology. Daarul Mutaalimin Mosque was built by the Kuningan University educational institution together with the Sang Adipati Kuningan Foundation in 2008 and it was inaugurated on June 13, 2010 by the governor of West Java. DKM Darulmutaalimin Kuningan University in collaboration with Kuningan University provides scholarships and tuition assistance for those who memorize the Qur’an or hafidz Qur’an. But in its implementation, there are several problems including in the decision-making process for the selection of the eligibility of prospective recipients of the Hafidz Qur'an scholarship. Therefore, we need a system that can assist the selection process, namely a decision support system (DSS) using web-based AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The AHP method is a decision-making method by conducting pairwise comparisons between selected criteria and sub-criteria which will later provide a weighting result for each alternative. This system is designed using DFD and built on a web-based basis with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The existence of a decision support system for the selection of hafidz qur'an scholarships using the AHP method will speed up the selection process and the results will be more accurate and optimal so that it can make easier for DKM and Kuningan University in determining prospective students who deserve scholarships.
