The Journal of Innovation Technology and Systems Information (JITSI) Jurnal publication is an online scientific journal that publishes research articles in Innovation Technology and Systems Information.

This statement outlines the code of ethics for all parties involved in the journal publication process, including the management, editors, reviewers, and authors. The core ethical values in publication are:
- Neutrality: Free from conflicts of interest in publication management.
- Fairness: Granting authorship rights to those who deserve to be recognized as authors.
- Honesty: Free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.
After reading this Ethical Publication Statement, please download the Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement. Sign and submit the Ethics Statement as part of your initial article submission. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted before your article can be published. These documents can be sent by mail, email, or fax.
Responsibilities of Journal Management:
- Determine the journal's name, scope, frequency, and accreditation if needed.
- Appoint the editorial board members.
- Define relationships between the publisher, editors, reviewers, and others in a contract.
- Respect confidentiality for contributors, authors, editors, and reviewers.
- Implement norms and regulations regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyrights.
- Review journal policies and communicate them to authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
- Develop a code of conduct for editors and reviewers.
- Publish the journal regularly.
- Ensure funding availability for the journal's sustainability.
- Build cooperation networks and marketing.
- Prepare necessary permits and legal aspects.
Responsibilities of Editors:
- Meet the needs of readers and authors.
- Continuously improve publication quality.
- Implement processes to ensure the quality of published works.
- Promote freedom of expression objectively.
- Maintain the integrity of academic records.
- Issue corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.
- Responsible for the style and format of the writing, while the content and statements are the responsibility of the authors.
- Actively seek opinions from authors, readers, reviewers, and editorial board members to improve publication quality.
- Encourage evaluation of the journal if there are findings.
- Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by requesting authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form approved by the Ethics Clearance Commission.
- Support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics.
- Review the effects of issue policies on authors and reviewers and refine them to increase responsibility and reduce errors.
- Be open to new ideas and views that may contradict personal opinions.
- Avoid holding onto personal views, authors' or third parties' opinions that can lead to non-objective decisions.
- Encourage authors to improve their work until it is worthy of publication.
Responsibilities of Reviewers:
- Review works assigned by editors and provide feedback to determine the suitability of a work for publication.
- Do not review works in which they have a conflict of interest.
- Maintain author privacy by not disclosing corrections, suggestions, and recommendations.
- Encourage authors to improve their work.
- Re-review works that have been revised according to established standards.
- Review works promptly, based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author legality, conclusions, etc.).
Responsibilities of Authors:
- Ensure that those listed as authors meet the criteria for authorship.
- Take collective responsibility for the work and content of the article, including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
- Disclose the origin of resources (including funding), directly or indirectly.
- Explain limitations in the research.
- Respond to reviewer comments professionally and promptly.
- Inform the editor if they wish to withdraw their work.
- Declare that the submitted work is original, has not been published elsewhere in any language, and is not under consideration by other publishers.
